The band is known for their irresistible live performances. Through the years they conquered a lot of festivals in the Netherlands and they are ready to take over the rest of the world. With the releases of singles ʻScribblinʼ and ‘Birds’ they entered the charts and (inter)national radio. Chef’Special guarantees a night of jumping crowds, sweaty shirts and smudged make-up. In 2010 they recorded the musicvideo ʻToo Far Goneʼ with a guest performance from Mathijs van Nieuwkerk (the biggest and most respected talkshow host of the Netherlands). This video was awarded for the best videoclip at the Dutch Online Film Festival. Thanks to this video the band became houseband of one of the most popular talkshows in the Netherlands (De Wereld Draait Door).
