Hitting the scene in early 2009 out of Towcester, UK, Joshua Steele (better known as Flux Pavilion) secured himself a solid stance in the dubstep world. His blend of hard smashing rhythms and manic basslines have certainly gained him an audience. Also as a musician he has incorporated his singing and instrumental talent into his tracks. Well known for his high energy sets, he is being booked home and abroad for his unique take on the dubstep sound.

Wild Beasts are a 4 piece band from Kendal, United Kingdom now based in London, UK. Songfacts reports that Wild Beasts were formed in 2002 in the north western England town of Kendal, by Queen Katherine School students Hayden Thorpe (vocals) and Ben Little (guitar). They originally performed under the name of Fauve, the French term for “wild beast”. In January 2004, schoolmate Chris Talbot (drummer) joined, and they changed the band’s name to Wild Beasts. The following year another student, Tom Fleming (bass), became a full time member of the band.

Deeply rooted in melodic death metal with lyrics centered around Viking history and Norse mythology, Amon Amarth (formerly known as Scum) was formed, with the arrival of Johan Hegg as the new vocalist, in 1992 in Tumba, Sweden, a southern suburb of Stockholm. They began writing material with lots of melodies, harmonies and lyrics about Vikings and the norse Pantheon.
Tiga
Tiga is the stage name of Montreal, Quebec, Canada-born DJ/producer Tiga James Sontag (born 1974). Before producing music, he was involved in the promotion of rave parties in his native city during the early 1990s, also Tiga was involved in the creation of world renowned afterhours club SONA. In 1994, he opened a record store named DNA Records, and in 1998 founded his own label, Turbo Recordings. Since his rise to success leading into the year 2000 and beyond, Tiga has been ranked the best electro DJ worldwide by DJ ranking polls.

Dirtyphonics have developed an original live act, whilst continuing to resist the cliché concept of a typical DnB live show. Hosted by MC Youthstar, their energetic act incorporates turntables, MPC’s, filters, effects and even a GameBoy. In addition to the live act, Dirtyphonics showcase their tunes with regular, explosive DJ sets, often using 4 turntables, back to back with Playte and Pitch In.

Lamb
The most widely-known Lamb is a trip-hop duo formed in 1996 in Manchester, England, by Lou Rhodes (singer-songwriter) and Andy Barlow (production). They incorporated into their musical style a distinctive mixture of jazz, dub, breaks, and drum and bass with a strong vocal element and, in their later works especially, some acoustic influences. Lamb are notable for their highly experimental work, a distinctive production style, Lou’s often passionate lyrical style, and their artistic videos.
