NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS (AUS)
Poet, writer, provocateur, rockstar. Nick Cave is all of these though not necessarily in this order. Whatever he does is important, even if he is not doing anything, whether it’s complete silence or a full volume sonic explosion. He can sing memorable duets or harsh chansons; he can write a three minute opera or a complete movie soundtrack, both fragile ballads and monumental, epic songs suit him perfectly. He makes era-defining records, he creates and dismisses bands, whatever he...

TRIGGERFINGER (B)
Antwerpen’s loudest rock band consists of the charming singer/guitar player Ruben Block, the indestructible bassist Paul van Bruystegem and Belgium’s busiest drummer Mario Goossens. Their music can range from a more traditional, old school but dynamic and up-tempo approach to some soulful, heartfelt rock. Over the decade of their existence their music was compared most likely to that of The Queens of the Stone Age, but even some of the softer AC/DC and Motörhead fans should find this...

FISH!
’100% hardpop since 1999. For catgirls, bloodsuckers, weekend fighters, metalheads, dancers, skaters, locksmiths, those who are drinking beer in the last row, stage divers. Radio pop, garage funk, rube rock. Give it a try.’ Such goes the ironic self-campaign of the band.

THE BOTS (UK)
The Bots is the band of two Californian teen prodigies, brothers Mikaiah Lei and Anaiah Lei who share a passion for groups like the White Stripes and the Black Keys. This said it’s no surprise that their music can be described as dynamic, fresh, hard hitting and 100% organic, guitar driven rock. They are still teenagers, but America is already lying at their feet, while they are living out their passion for music on a guitar and a drum set in the loudest and most intensive way possible....

THE CRIBS (UK)
Britain’s cultic band, The Cribs is formed by brothers Gary, Ryan and Ross Jarman. Their uproarious and vivid, guitar-driven music is disarmingly confident and so are they. In the early 2000’s they led the British indie scene out of the twilight zone created by the breakup of the Smiths. Since then they’ve become one of the most critically acclaimed bands and it is just impossible to imagine any British music festival without a show by The Cribs. In less than 10 years they have...
